My husband and I are preparing to move to Florida in the very near future. We have our hearts set on owning a house, too. Unfortunately, we’ve heard a ton of horror stories about the housing market in the Tampa area where we are looking. It seems not all construction projects down there are quite as reputable as they should be. While I suppose this is the case anywhere, we’ve decided to go with Tampa custom home builders for extra peace of mind.

The reasons why we have chosen this route over picking among other Florida new homes for sale are many. Part of it lies in the security factor and part simply involves our own personal tastes.
The big motivating factors in our decision include:

This is giving us peace of mind as we make a long distance search. We feel like brand name recognition will help protect our investment.
· The special features – Orlando custom home builders, Tampa builders and others with big names in the industry tend to offer special features that other builders do not. The quality upgrades are really capturing our attention even as we’re looking at models on the Internet.
· The legends – The Tampa area actually has some legendary builders. We’d like to own a piece of the history.

As we’ve been trying to find the best custom home builder, we’ve come across some that really capture our attention. I can’t wait to get to Florida to see the models!
